We are proud to share the news with you that AULP and Loughborough University have been shortlisted for the AULP Conference and Inaugural Awards 2024 in the Best Event Experience category in this year’s HEIST awards!
Loughborough University volunteered to host the conference at its’ Green Flag award winning campus in the East Midlands and set out to build an event which responded to feedback from members, to demonstrate the concept of leveraging sponsor interest to invest in AULP’s activities, by generating a surplus greater than previous years, to be as green as possible and to showcase what makes Loughborough University unique.
Why should we win?
The Association of University Legal Practitioners conference 2024 wove together a unique event experience which provided a rich programme containing learning, networking, peer-sharing and wellbeing
support, all while demonstrating why Loughborough University is a unique place to work and study.
The team had never hosted a professional services conference, but pulled off the most financially successful and well-received AULP conference ever. We changed people’s perceptions of Loughborough as a sports-focused University in a sleepy market town, to an innovative, beautiful and welcoming place to work, study or visit.
