The AULP Winter Leadership Forum is a new annual event designed for senior legal, governance and compliance professionals across the UK higher education sector. Hosted in partnership with HCR at the Clayton Hotel Cambridge, the Forum offers a full day of leadership development, horizon scanning and best‑practice sharing as we close out 2026 and look ahead to 2027.
Across the day, attendees will take part in a series of sessions including an external training session led by Simon Fanshawe OBE from Diversity by Design, providing specialist insight into inclusive leadership and focusing particularly on the organisational culture challenges around free speech and the OfS framework and Complaints Scheme
The Forum is designed to support senior staff and those stepping into leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on shared learning, practical tools and sector‑wide insight. The day will conclude with the AULP AGM, offering space for wider member engagement and questions. Final agenda will be shared shortly.
