TheΒ AULP 2026 Annual Conference will take place at the University of St Andrews from 17–19 June. To support delegates in planning their journey, we have produced a comprehensive Travel Information Guide covering rail, air, shuttle services, and driving routes.

The guide brings together all key travel details in one place, helping you make informed decisions about the best way to reach St Andrews.

What the Guide Covers

The guide outlines the exact locations for both the main conference venue and accommodation.

πŸš† Rail Travel

Information includes:

  • Closest station: Leuchars

  • Regular services from Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, and connections from London

  • Sleeper train options from London Euston

  • Local bus routes from Leuchars to St Andrews

🚌 Shuttle Service

A complimentary shuttle will run between Leuchars Station and the venue:

  • Wednesday 17 June: 16:00–20:00 (looping service)

  • Friday 19 June: Transfer from campus to Leuchars shortly after the conference closes at 15:00

Further details will be shared closer to the event.

✈️ Air Travel

The guide provides:

  • Approximate travel times from Edinburgh Airport (1 hr 15 mins) and Glasgow Airport (2 hrs 15 mins)

  • If you are travelling via Edinburgh Airport and have concerns about onward travel, please contact harry@yourvision-events.com for support.
